My iPhone

Published 23 July 2007

Hi! You've stumbled upon a blog post by a guy named Ryan. I'm not that guy anymore, but I've left his posts around because cool URIs don't change and to remind me how much I've learned and grown over time.

Ryan was a well-meaning but naïve and priviledged person. His views don't necessarily represent the views of anyone.

I got an iPhone! Well, not really, but I made one:

My iPhone

Its specifications:

  • A full-featured music player
  • Contacts, calendar and alarm clock
  • Able to send and receive calls and SMS
  • Two screens! one full-color, one zero-color

But in all seriousness, my cell phone's screen is broken. It lights, but it does not display. It still rings and I can answer it, but I cannot see missed calls nor read text messages. I use the iPod to look up a contact's phone number and type it in--that's my only recourse.

If I miss your call, I'm sorry. Please try me again. Otherwise contact me using other methods.
